A wellness app that turns daily records into the Liver Wellness Index
AriBnC completed the index calculation system in June 2026 and is now preparing it as an Android and iOS app. It computes a single index from the records a user enters and helps them manage everyday lifestyle habits.
What the app does
The app analyses the daily records users enter and shows the results, including the Liver Wellness Index, together with lifestyle guidance.
In June 2026 AriBnC completed a lifelog-based system for producing the index. Development and verification sit with ABCI, the AI-Bio Convergence Institute established in April 2026. The Android and iOS app is in preparation for Korea, Japan and Southeast Asia.
You enter everyday records — sleep, physical activity, meals and drinking, body weight. The app analyses them with AI algorithms developed in-house, shows an index related to liver wellness, and sets out the lifestyle factors you can change yourself together with what it suggests for each.
How the index is produced
From 23 non-invasive inputs we estimate four liver-wellness reference indicators, and from those come the index and what to change.

Entering records — 23 inputs
- Twenty-three non-invasive items — demographics and body measures, vital signs, lifestyle, physical activity (the IPAQ questionnaire) and diet — entered by the user. No blood test values are entered.
- Age and BMI are recomputed from what you entered, skewed values are evened out, and everything is standardised on the median and interquartile range. The 23 items were chosen from a wider set during development.

Estimating four reference indicators
- Five mediating variables are estimated first, then four liver-wellness reference indicators are estimated in log space.
- For each of the four we searched out the machine-learning algorithm that suits it best.

The four ratios, and keeping them consistent
- Four auxiliary ratios are computed from the estimated indicators by formula. The formulas sit inside the model as a differentiable layer, so the estimates and the ratios never contradict each other (consistency error 0).
- v1.3 made the index calculation more stable.

The index, and what to change
- A non-negative weighted sum produces the final value, which is sorted into bands (low, middle, high); a knowledge graph of 1,752 items and 650 scientific sources then suggests what to change. How much each input contributed is determined using scientific analytical methods and reported both overall and for the individual.
- The AI model system was validated on data from a separate group not used in training the model, and on data from an external group.
- This app is not a medical device and does not diagnose any disease.

Data and privacy
The app uses only the records the user enters. It does not import medical records, laboratory results or insurance records from anywhere.
- Retention period, processing entrusted to third parties and any cross-border transfer follow the privacy policy in force at launch.
- There is no plan to provide personally identifiable information to partners or research institutions; any detail on third-party provision follows the privacy policy in force at launch.
